Welcome to the City of Pickering website.  Click any of the images on the website banner to explore further and become familiar with our website.  Our main content is grouped in five sections: Business, Planning & Development, City Hall, Lifestyle, and Services.  Sustainable Pickering is a separate website as is the Seaton Community Website.

It is now possible to subscribe to updates through our News & Announcements page, and we also have twitter and facebook accounts.  Share some local scenes by sending an electronic postcard to friends or family!

Your comments and suggestions and important to us.  Through our website, you can submit a general feedback form, initiate a service request, or contact the website coordinator for more information.

Local History and Tourism information
The library maintains the Local History Collection.  The majority of this collection has been digitized and is conveniently available at www.pada.ca (Pickering Ajax Digital Archive). The Pickering Ajax Digital Archive contains thousands of historical photographs and hundreds of full-text documents which are completely indexed and easily searched.

The Central Library is the Tourism Information Centre for the City of Pickering, and also provides virtual tours online!  You will find additional Tourism links in our Business Section.
