summer fun!
August programs @ your libraryTM
Over 1000 children in Pickering
have already registered to Laugh out Loud with the 2008 Summer
Reading Club, and the fun doesn’t stop there! Throughout the
month of August, the Pickering Public Library will continue to
offer a wide range of programs for children of all ages, in
addition to regular weekly storytimes. Be sure to check out the

How Quick of a Tongue Twister
are You? (8 to 11 years)
Get ready to laugh doing tongue twister races, giggling at
humorous poems, and playing rhyming bingo.

What’s in my Soup? (8 to 11
years)
Join Ann E Ward, of Herongate Barn Theatre and her friends from
Kid.Stage for a fun hour of comedy sketches and interactive
theatre games!
Limit of 30 participants, and registration is required.

Ooey, Gooey, and Gross! (6 to
