Purdy Poetry Marathon at the Pickering Public Library has been cancelled

The Purdy Poetry Marathon, which was to be held at the Pickering Central Library on Tuesday, August 19th and Wednesday, August 20th has been cancelled.

This event was intended to help raise funds for the Vancouver-based A-Frame Trust, which hopes to turn the house of the great Canadian poet Al Purdy into a writers retreat. Anyone interested in donating to this trust or receiving more information can contact event organizer Kevin Craig at kevintcraig@hotmail.com .
