do I book
/ rent a banquet hall?

The City of Pickering has several facilities that can be rented for
small gatherings of 20 to large gatherings of 600. View

What
are the operating hours of the Pickering Recreation Complex?
- The Pickering Recreation
Complex is open from 6:00am - 11:00pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend hours are 7:00am -
9:00pm.
Hours of operation are also available on the Recreation Connect
Information Line at 905.420.4646.

What
are your membership prices?
- Information on membership
types and prices can be obtained by calling the Pickering Recreation
Complex at 905.831.1711 or 905.683.6582. Membership rates are also
noted in the City of Pickering Brochure which can be viewed
online, picked up at
either the Pickering Recreation Complex or the Pickering Civic
Complex, second floor, Culture & Recreation
Division.

Can
you register for a program on the Internet?
- Yes! We are pleased to
announce that Click
to Reg is available for online Registration - if you
prefer not to register online, a registration
form is available on our website in PDF format and once filled in, this can be
sent by fax to the Recreation Complex at 905.831.9370.
You can also register using
the City's Tele-Reg system. From a touch tone phone, call 905.420.4749 to experience the convenience
of Tele-Reg. For your convenience, portions of the City Brochure
are provided on the Leisure
Programs page of our website.

Can you
register for a program by fax?
- Yes. An application form
can be obtained from the Recreation Complex directly, can be found
inside the City of Pickering Brochure, or can be accessed
on our website. The Recreation Complex fax number is
905.831.9370.

What
programs are available for seniors?
- Information is available
on our Seniors web page,
and in the City of Pickering, Culture & Recreation
Brochure, which
is distributed three times per year (Winter, Spring/Summer and
Fall).
The South Pickering Seniors' Club is located at the East
Shore Community Centre. Visit their website at www.spsc753.com

The Rouge Hill Seniors' Club is located at the Petticoat Creek

arenas are there in Pickering and where are they located?
- Pickering has three arenas.
Don Beer Arena is located on Dillingham Ave., one block south of
Bayly, west of Brock Road on the west side. view

The two other arenas are the O'Brien Arena and the Delaney Arena. Both
are located at the Pickering Recreation Complex, 1867 Valley Farm

is the Pickering Museum Village?
- Pickering Museum Village
is located in 10 quick clicks from downtown Pickering, between Brock
Road and Westney Road, off Highway 7 - just look for the

How
can I advertise my community event?
- Messages for City of
Pickering Service Clubs, Churches, Non-Profit Organizations, various
City of Pickering Corporate Events and general public information
can be posted on the City's LED Sign. The LED Sign is an electronic
display board located at the northeast corner of Highway#2 and
